Geoscience tech startup receives the King’s Award
Oxfordshire-based tech startup, Infoscience Technologies (www.infosciencetechnologies.com), founded by Dr Paul Cleverley, has received the King’s Award for Enterprise Innovation, for innovation in Natural Language Processing (NLP) in the geosciences. Infoscience Technologies’ artificial Intelligence algorithms, which target the geo-resource energy transition sector, use NLP to intelligently machine-read text within reports. This enables the automation of tasks such as data extraction, summarisation and classification to support information management and compliance, as well as the detection of trends and anomalies.
