The Energy Geoscience Conference (EGC1)
The Events Team were proud to be at the forefront of the inaugural meeting of this major new international conference series, which took place in Aberdeen in May and was co-convened by the Geological Society and the Geoscience Energy Society of Great Britain (GESGB). EGC1 brought together ~600 delegates, demonstrating our reach and raising our profile as front runners in delivering high-impact geoscience events to a new global audience.
The conference explored the contribution of geoscience to the low-carbon energy transition with a varied, high-quality technical programme that connected those working across the energy geosciences.
