Join us for the culmination of our groundbreaking research seminar series, Climate and Ecology: Off the Rails. On 15–16 September 2025, Burlington House will host a hybrid conference that draws on the themes explored during the regional series of talks. The event will also form the Society’s annual GeoFutures meeting 2025, which focuses on 21st century geoscience and the solutions that geoscientists provide to global challenges.

The study of Earth’s climate and ecology provides crucial insights into the functioning of the natural world and the impacts human activities have upon it. Understanding both is essential for developing current and future strategies to tackle climate change, conserve biodiversity, and ensure the health and sustainability of Earth’s ecosystems for future generations.

The GeoFutures meeting will serve as a platform to unite geoscientists, ecologists, conservationists, and industry professionals to discuss the impact of climate change on Earth’s marine, terrestrial, and atmospheric ecosystems and develop mitigation strategies. This hybrid meeting is free for Fellows to attend. We hope you can join us.
